The Adult Team provides services for adult women who have experienced abuse and trauma in their lives. Many of the women who attend this service have experienced sexual abuse or assault. This sexual abuse may be historic abuse from their childhood or teenage years or it may be a more recent rape or sexual assualt.

The Adult Team is staffed by psychotherapists and counsellors who are fully trained and experienced in working with issues of abuse and trauma. Some of the therapists are ACC registered and they are able to guide clients in registering an ACC claim for funding towards their counselling costs.

The therapists in the Adult Team provide;

• Individual psychotherapy and counselling.
• Group work for sexual abuse survivors.
